I have great success with a little piece of coat hanger wire that has a slight hook in the end. The piece is about 6" long and I use it to pull hair out of the drain line without much trouble.

It is really gross the hair but does the job.

There is also this tool called a Zip It. google that and watch a few videos - they are priceless!

I am trying zip it. super useful info. Even it can't solve the problem with this tub. it seems will save a lot of time on the other tub, which I use, who has long hair. you know.... its nasty though....
