Need very low stand for TV in front of FP

Our mid-century home has two mammoth brick FPs in both the living and family rooms. We have decided that our only possible option for placing the TV is in front of the LR FP (something we don't use). In the photos we have a TEMPORARY bedroom storage box, which at about 13" in height hides the opening to the FP with the TV. We are liking this height for ease of viewing also.

We need something wider than the 33" pictured and hopefully with a shelf. Depth shouldn't be more than the 19" which is the depth of the tile on the hearth. We've searched terms such as:
Low TV stand
Low profile furniture
Benches
Coffee tables

Everything is either too tall or too deep. I welcome your ideas!

have something made! local wood workers would probably welcome the job! you could actually have it made to add to the built in to the right, making that one long structure.

I think you want "console table" or "low TV console". 36 inches by 18-19 inches deep is pretty standard -- you can go much wider too. Here are just a few from this site -- you might find something pretty close to ideal at Ikea.

You need a TV media center that is much wider than the one you have shown. It should be at least a foot to 18" longer than the TV on each side & it looks like your fireplace does allow for that width. Find a way to hide the cords as well. Close the damper on the fireplace & I do not know if you should also place something between the firebox & your TV as well. It looks like you have the perfect situation for what you want to do.

Add "low" and you'll get more at your desired height.

We really need a piece that is under 13 inches. That has been the problem, to find one that low. Here's a photo of the gap that we have in front of the fireplace opening with the temporary 13 inch height piece. You can see that there is already some of the FP opening showing at that height, with TV above. Thanks for suggestions!

One idea we have is to just take the legs off of something but we were hoping for something of higher quality than we usually get.

After searching for hours, yes, I think we may have one made locally. I also think painting the fireplace a more muted color so as not to draw so much attention to it will make that recede a bit visually. Thanks!
