May we ask the distance from the end of the tub in this photo, to the opposing shower wall? How about the dimensions of the shower? We have a bathroom set up similarly, and are not sure this type of shower would work.
Thank you very much.

David Neiman Architects The bathroom is 12' wide (5' shower, 7' tub)

johnteague How wide is the space containing the tub and shower area? It is great and what we have been looking for.

S. Thomas Kutch I'm guessing the neighbors enjoy the view........:) How are you screening for privacy?

David Neiman Architects With whatever window covering the client chooses. It's easy to raise & lower shades when you want to make privacy adjustments, but difficult to cut holes in the wall when you want natural light, or to see what's going on outside. We always err on the side of more windows, knowing that they can always be screened according to the tastes & privacy needs of a given individual.

Erica Tripard I can't thank you enough - this walk in shower sans the tub where it is, is exactly what I want - NO DOOR!

momsappy I don't want doors on my shower and wondered what the minimum distance is recommended?

David Neiman Architects Minimum is 3'x5', which works ok. A small amount of water will bounce out onto the floor outside the shower.

3'x6 is ideal.
