Arts & Craft Kitchen - Counter Granite Edge Recommendation Needed
January 9, 2013 in Design Dilemma
We would welcome ideas as to what would be the most realistic type of edge for granite kitchen counters in a remodel that is aiming to be quasi Arts & Crafts. We live close to Pasadena's Bungalow Heaven and have used these homes as our inspiration.

Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders This is the link to a search here on Houzz. Some of everything shows up, but predominantly the edges are what we call here a "pencil" edge where it is just barely rounded over on the top just so the edge is not sharp.

We are located in the Philadelphia metro area, and we would call that an Eased edge. It is very popular!

Eased edge is best. Simple and elegant to go with the A&C feel.

Thanks so much everyone. I was not familiar with these terms (pencil edge, eased edge), but now I am!
