They look like columnar junipers. There are a number of varieties, this one looks like it could be (Juniperus virginiana 'Skyrocket'): http://www.hopewellnursery.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=plants.plantdetail&plant_id=3760 Your local nursery can point you to one that will thrive where you live.

The skinny evergreens are 'Tiny Tower' Italian cypress, see http://www.monrovia.com/plant-catalog/plants/1028/tiny-tower-italian-cypress.php
These grow somewhat narrower than columnar junipers, and have a darker green color than 'Skyrocket,' which tends to be a bit blue-green.
