Mounting in NYC apt

I'm wondering if anyone out there can suggest a way to safely mount this in our NYC apt bathroom. I really do not like the pedestals they sell, and they are so so expensive. I'm considering putting in a base cabinet, but then we will lose the beauty of the cast iron bottom. Any thoughts or ideas wold be greatly appreciated!

The Kohler Brockway is a beautiful but not an economical solution.
You can find the mounting instructions here (you might need to reinforce your wall):

How about building out a false wall a bit and you could include a shelf on top as well. Your mirror(s) then go just above the wall, which would also serve as your backsplash. So sorry for the "late" reply, but I only now just saw your comment.
