Ideas for a coordinating color for Kitchen Island
I am looking for suggestions for color choice for our kitchen island at our cottage.

We have chosen Benjamin Moore Hazy Skies for the upper and lower cabinetry. The cabinet style will be a wide panel Shaker profile. Counter tops will be granite or Corian in a cream/off white shade and the backsplash will be warm white 3x6 subway tiles. This is a new build so unfortunately I don't have any photos available.

We have considered Cloud White or Chelsea Gray (both Benjamin Moore colors) but are not entirely sold on either. The cloud white may blend too much with the Maritime White (tongue in groove pine) walls. I am worried the Chelsea Gray may be too bland and slightly off tone compared to the Hazy Skies.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

tleigh1955 What is going on in the adjacent room? Also, what type of appliances do you have? Stainless? Floors? Hard to give suggestions without this info.

jaelync The kitchen layout is L shaped with upper cabinets only on the long wall. It is open concept to a great room that houses a dining room (adjacent) and living room. All the walls are the same Maritime White tongue in groove panelling. The great room has 2 french doors and 4 floor to ceiling windows so the space is quite bright.

The island will float in the kitchen space. Appliances are stainless steel. We have a white apron sink and an industrial style stainless steel faucet. Door hardware will be oil rubbed bronze as are the light fixtures in the kitchen and adjacent spaces.

Floors will be wide plank pine floors stained in a light to medium walnut. The nearest furniture is a 5x5 hickory table. Our furniture palette throughout the cottage will be muted colors of nature - driftwood, cream, white, sea glass, pale blues, sage, natural woods, etc.
