1886 Eastlake restoration

The lower level of this home was considered to be a "Michigan" basement, dark, dank and had dirt floors. We excavated to give us more head room. It now houses a spa/sauna and bar which we offer to our guests as it is a fully operating 6 bedroom bed and breakfast. I tried to keep the flavor of the house in the upper floors while offering modern amenities. I have many before pictures as it was in terrible shape but am happy with the results. I am starting my next renovation also a bed and breakfast, a 1912 English Tudor mansion.

Thank you. Check out my website www.historicwebsterhouse.com I can post before pictures but it was pretty awful when we bought it. You have to see beyond the decay, dirt and grime and envision its grandeur.
