What would you do to "hide" electrical wires from second/third shelves?

My place is very small; so this is a great idea. I have to use a very small table for my desktop, and will create a second (and maybe third) shelve for the lamp/printer. but how to plug the wires without seem them along the wall to reach the bottom outlet?
