Need help with drapery color

Walls are antique ivory. Two upholstered chairs in front of 72" wide window are federal blue. One chair has tiny threads of yellow, peach and light blue. Couch across from window is light grey background with embroidered flowers (muted) with blue grey, beige, pink -peach, orange-peach threads. Drapes are currently peach, but are faded. I want to update the room using the same furniture, but new drapes. I could not get my photos to upload - sorry.

I would take the yellow from the upholstery and use that for the drapes, I think it would help brighten/warm up the room seems like your room has many cold shades. Can't say much without pics

Thank you! I was also wondering about using yellow. You have given me the courage to try this. I will keep trying with the pics.
