Fireback as backsplash?

How does fireback hold up to cooking splatter? Did you seal it? How easy to clean is it?

The tile is sealed but not the fire back. Holds up well, and easy to clean.

The large fruit basket tile isn't really a tile, but a cast iron fireback. We always have 500+ different firebacks in stock, see our website:
