I am thinking of doing this in my bedroom and it would be very much appreciated if I could know how much I would be spending on a project like this. ( please don't include the cost of the beds, light, chair, or desk.) Thank You!

$1500 to $2500, depending on choice of materials and how well it's built (how much time is spent on details) and the cost of the spindles (these were collected by the homeowner).

Thank you. That's exactly what i needed to know. I'm not planning on using spindles anyway, they wouldn't fit with the room. I was willing to spend $1000 to $2000 on a nice bunk bed, but I think this is much more space saving and looks a lot neater too!

It's always been the most popular item on my website. It was the homeowner's idea to use the post and to have the extra platform for a hangout. Everything else followed from that.

I think it is 9'. I can't remember and don't have a record of it.
