Different types of nickel
croozeJanuary 31, 2013
what is the "rule of thumb" for using different nickels together. I purchased PB polished nickel lights, towel bars, etc. I have now come to find out that not everything called "polished nickel" has the same finish. Is it OK to use polished nickel with brushed nickel in the same bathroom space?

I looked into this when doing my kitchen and I believe one of the rules of thumb would be for all fixtures to match but accents like lighting or furniture do not have to match. In a bathroom, I would take that to mean (and it's what I did in my bathrooms) that faucets and towel bars would all match, but you could switch it up for your lighting or accessories.
