Living room window treatments
i am at a complete design block. ideas welcome. not sure whether to do shades or drapes, or a combination of both. i have brought at least 100 samples home, nothing seems to work. i would like a cozy and warm look. the room has high ceilings.
 
carole it can get so confusing,the more you see!! would choose the fabric on the right,or the one i found in the pict,simplfy the choice and would either soften the white walls,maybe just a hint of honey ,together with the furniture and colors you like!! the white is very stark,or bring in more white,the sofa would be the one i changed if that was the option,it seems a bit grey amongst all the warm colors,
also on the windowseats more white cushions,spread the white more evenly,not white-white but with the colors you like in lighter fabric,tried to find you some samples,i have the same problem and have decided to have a lighter color and fabric choice for spring/summer and put the warmer and heavier fabrics back for the autumn/winter......

decoenthusiaste Maybe the missing cozy factor is due to the white paint! Have you considered surrounding yourself with color?
