Second story arches
February 1, 2013 in Photo Questions
Our existing balcony does not have arches but I like the idea of arches for the add-ons. Would that look ok to mix the styles?

It's up to you, I'd probably stick with the straight runs on the upper stories, yet keep the arches near the stairs and fireplace.

We'll think about it. So far we still like the original design with the add on faux balcony. We are just placing with the column placement a bit to see if it makes sense to move it 6 to 8 inches towards the house. This would keep it from being right in front of the pool steps and flagstone steps. I am also making a list of other questions. I'll send them to you on Monday.

So we went out and tapped off something we think we can work with. It is based on the original design. If we encounter pool piping during construction, how do we deal with it if it needs to be moved?
