One Wall Kitchen

Our kitchen has one wall with a door on each side and the opposite side open to the dining room. How do we maximize storage with just one wall where all our appliances have to be too?

If you have even a little bit of countertop that you could do without, then I would convert that section of your cabinets into full height storage such as you see below. Yes, you would lose the countertop, but you would create a 24" deep pantry the full height of your cabinets. It would work best with pullout units.

Otherwise, I would place storage in the dining room, also shown below. Sometimes there's a laundry room closeby that may be your salvation if the other options don't work.

Would a narrow -12-18" island dividing the kitchen from the dining room fit? This could give you extra storage and counter space while proving a natural division of the space.
