My husband and I recently bought a great house! But It has a medium sized sitting room and small living room. We want to create an open concept and knock down the wall between the two, however it makes it a very awkward space. And we can't decide what else needs to happen in order to make the layout useable especially with a very large 70 in TV. The space will also end up with 2 different ceiling heights, the room with the fireplace has a cathedral 10ft ceiling, while the sitting / dining room has an 8ft.
