Lily Gahagan This looks like a synthetic material made to look like rattan or wicker. You can find similar furniture sets from Pottery Barn (http://www.potterybarn.com/products/palmetto-all-weather-wicker-sectional-black/?pkey=csofa-sectional-outdoor), DWR (http://www.dwr.com/category/outdoor/collections/ollie.do) and other home stores. They replicate the look, but are water resistant and require little upkeep. :)
