Help for door handles on kitchen cabinets

I am finally after waiting 10 years getting a kitchen makeover! I have a large 12x12 L shaped kitchen- going with espresso plank cabinets and quartz windmere countertops---I have 23 doors-30 inches tall and will look taller when crown molding is added- and 11 drawers---What size door handles should I use? I am afraid the long bar ones would be over whelming with so many? Thanks everyone that responds.

What door style are you doing? Can you post a picture? Modern and traditional cabinet doors carry knobs and pulls differently. The long rod type pulls look great on shaker or flat panels, while they would look odd on an arched top raised panel.

I am doing shaker doors---and I want something I think between the long rods and regular handles---also I am doing nicket color but is there anything I should be aware of when picking them out----some say a coating on them and I dont want them turning colors- thanks

If you purchase a quality handle, they won't change color. Also, a picture would help us visualize better.

This is a contemporary alternative to the long bars. Or you can just do the long bars 1/2 the size of the cabinet.

It's very stylish here in Australia to have no handles on your overheads. This stops it looking overwhelming when you have lots of cabinet work. Small bar handles look cheap and dated. Use something substantial on those lower cabinets/ drawers and pantry doors. Good luck from sunny Oz!
