converting a tub to a shower
February 10, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Is there a readymade shower pan that replaces the need for a hot mop or flexible liner and can be tiled? What about using the existing waste line or must it be moved to the center?

I'm looking into doing the same update from tub to shower and would love to know what you've found. Any updates?

I know Home Depot and Lowes have the shower pans online. Not sure if in the stores. I don't believe that a flexible pan can be tiled. Too much flexibility, I think.

There may be a specific pan for what you want to do. Check it out online. Let us all know what you find. I'm assuming there would only be a center drain as they are made for square or rectangular showers, not usually a conversion tub to shower situation.
