Do you prefer pavers vs stamped concrete for patios/driveways?

Personally, I prefer pavers since they allow water to absorb into the ground rather than acting as a rain sluce with water running down the driveway and into the sewerage system.

In addition, repairs to the surface or any subterranean fixtures such as plumbing, electric or gaslines are easy since they can be pulled up and replaced - whereas slab concrete, stamped or not, needs to be jackhammered up and thrown away and repoured with new material when repairs are necessary.

Good points about pavers. If you do choose stamped concrete here is more information and a photo gallery on ConcreteNetwork.com: http://www.concretenetwork.com/concrete/stamped_concrete/

There is also a comparison on stamped concrete and pavers.

Pavers or poured aggregate concrete, No stamped cancrete because it looks too cheap.

This particular project has a driveway constructed out of reclaimed antique Chinese road pavers.
