I am trying to convince my husband to lay tile in our large kitchen and two bathrooms (we currently have vinyl flooring). It's a total of probablly 1,000 sq. ft. of tile. I want different looks for the rooms but he wants all the tile to be the same - he says it won't look right if it's all different. I need opinions please! If I had pictures I'd upload them but I don't at the moment. Thank you for any input you have!
Deborah Butler, Brickwood Builders In open spaces I would keep the same tile. You can change in a bathroom where there is a door that makes a logical and visual change.
Jane That's what I've been trying to tell him. I hope to eventually do hardwoods through out the rest of the house but I really want to get the kitchen/dining area and bathroom's done first. I like the idea of penny tile/pebble tile in the bathrooms and he hates it. I just don't know how to win him over...
