Would like a gray and white bathroom. Can't decide whether to paint walls white(or very light gray) with the cabinet and light box a charcoal gray or paint the walls charcoal gray and leave cabinet and light box white. Any suggestions?

Paint the walls a dark grey. It will be the most cost effective. I would also think about replacing the countertop with a nice marble.

Or, paint the cabinets dark grey and the walls light grey. The floor, trim and top will pull in enough white.

Michele- Will there be enough white since the floor is gray?

Dark gray. It will add depth to the room.

Yes, I believe so. White towels and window treatments will also bring the white in. The key will be to find the right grey. Be sure to get a variety and look at them in your space (lighting is key!) You might find that a hour consultation with a professional will prevent choosing the wrong one and will be well worth the investment.

Good Luck!

My master is charcoal gray with a "chair rail" set at 72" and the top painted sky blue. All cabs are white. It feels very SPA. Don't be afraaid to go dark. It is actually luxurious. (catherdral ceilings)

If I paint the walls a charcoal gray, should I keep the window treatment or will it be too much gray?

Charcoal gray on the walls. Window Treatments can be white as well as towels. The rest is white. So it should be good. Lighting is Key. You might want to bring a pop of color with some flowers or maybe with colored hand towels in a a bright yellow. just a few.

I think ill go with charcoal walls with the suggested white towels and window treatments. Should I keep mirror over tub ? It has the tunnel effect. Have attached picture.

I would put a nice big piece of art instead.

I like the idea of a mirror in that area... however, this one is quite large and not unique. This is a great place to take the liberty for something to wow the space and/or add your own personality.

What if removed the grid and hung a large piece art on the mirror? Would that work?

PAINT THE WALLS--DONT PAINT THE CABINETS (AS THE PAINT MAY PEAL OFF IF NOT PROPERLY DONE) ALSO CONSIDER REMOVING THE LIGHT BOX FOR A CLEANER LOOK.

One of these would work nicely. I would go with maybe the slate color.

I would add a small 4-5 light chandelier to add that wow and remove that grid mirror and add some thing to complement that chandelier. - you can visit my pinterest profile and the boards called lighting. Theres a small white one in there. www.pinterest.com/MADesignsLLC

You could add a pop of color with the towels or accessories
