I have small bath, (the only bath) located on 1st floor which also hosts the laundry in a 100 yr old farmhouse.
The pair face the bathroom (fit into a recessed wall area that has an opening of only 51"), so the washer can not be pulled out unless the dryer is first pulled out to work on. The washer is top loading, so I can't at this point put a countertop over them.
I don't like seeing them, so I would either like to disguise them with a door of somekind.
No wall space for pocket door, or space for extra hardware for attaching doors on side. I also had an idea of using some kind or roller door attached from the top.
The only other idea I had was if I used stackables and turned them to fit the other way (which has a 30)"opening width, I don't know how that would look?
