Countertop for vanity. Fantastic white granite color (has brown and grey in it) or aurora snow quartz.

We are trying to decide on countertop for our vanity. The dark expresso is the color of the cupboards and the two squares on the vanity top choices. As you can see the tub is grey tile and the floor has grey, cream and white in it. Will it be too busy with the granite and the floor?

I agree with Ann - you seem to have a busy floor tile so keep the vanity top simple - go for the one on the right

In the first picture, the floor looks very cream with yellow tones. Between your two choices, maybe the smaller white one is safer. It looks like it would provide continuity with the tub and toilet.

Here is a close up of the floor. It was installed before we put in the new tub and tile I would like to pull out more of the white and grey in it rather than the creams. Would the busier countertop help take away from the floor or just add to the busyness.

I think it could be a little iffy. It might work but also could be one of those choices you kick yourself for.

It depends on the goal- the white is more formal and contemporary while the other is a bit more casual, traditional

Thanks I am trying to go for more of a contemporary look and the vanity faucet is contemporary so maybe leaning towards the white

I agree with Ann and think the flooring reads more cream/yellow. What a great looking shower, why not finish it off with a contemporary floor. If that's not an option, go with the white countertop.
