What is the backsplash - is it glass tiles? Also, can you combine artic white with gray and white glass tiles on the backsplash?

The backsplash is the same Arctic White Granite that you see on the countertops/island. Yes, I believe gray and white glass tiles would look very nice with the Arctic White countertop.

I personally like a granite backsplash as opposed to a tile. What is a decorator's point of view regarding this? If the granite has simple movement and not busy, it can be very beautiful.
