All hardware finishes must match?

Do all of the hardware finishes in my home have to match? For instance, if I have brushed nickel faucets throughout, can I change up the door hardware to oiled bronze? So torn!

Split finished door hardware is easy. Do ORB in all rooms that do not have satin nickel faucets and hardware. Use satin nickel hinges and knobs/levers in rooms that do. The kitchen can be an exception as mix and match cabinets can be mix and match hardware colors. Bathrooms are maybe not so easy to mix up.
