Not bigger, just better

The Impatient GardenerMarch 5, 2013
Although our renovation, in which we took half of the top of the house off and put it back on higher (allowing us to add a bathroom and walk-in closet), did not give us any more square footage, we did gain oodles of useable square footage as well as a much more energy efficient house.

It looks very nice, you have found the proper proportions with changing the roof slope.

very nice. what a difference with the new peak over the blue door. the large deck and pergola add alot of outdoor living space and love the park like backyard.

nice idea. It is so nice to find people who don't have to add another 1000sqft. You have kept the character of the house which is really great.
