Change lighting over table?
March 6, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I moved my dining room into the original sunroom - better for entertaining, offers more space and a better view. However, I would like different lighting over the table (without having the ceiling & electrical re-done).

The 2 white ceiling fans, that will be raised closer to the vaulted ceiling....hoping they will blend more with the white ceiling. The table is centered between the 2 recessed lights. Should I replace them with 2 pendant lights (using the conversion kits available) ?

My concern is that there will be too many things hanging from the ceiling. What about brown pendant fixtures, with ivory distressed globes? Any ideas?

Maybe this pic can give you an idea of what a hanging light looks like with the overhead fans.
