Need help with chandelier height?

Here is a photo. I have 15 3/4 foot cathedral ceiling at center beam. How low or high should I hang this?

Lite should. Not be more than 3 feet from top of table.

Yes, 36" or less above the table top. I'd prefer the fixture to be 1/2 the width of the table top as well. This way 1/4 of the table is clear of the fixture on the sides and the diners don't feel like there is something hanging over their heads. Its a comfort level thing.

HI -- It doesn't matter what height the ceiling is for the chandelier to hang or the height of the table . The easy way to get the right height for a chandelier over a table is simple . Measure 5 ft from floor to the bottom of the fixture .

If it is over 3' from the top of the table, you lose the unity of space. The fixture is part of the table as much as the chairs are. Keep them as a unit.
