Paint color dilemna
March 7, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I have red oak hardwood floors in a living room (vaulted ceiling)/dining room with lots of natural light and dark chocolate leather furniture. I want to go as light as possible with the paint color, but feel I need some warmth in the color to compliment the floors and furniture...Suggestions on paint colors, please!

Try Revere Pewter (Benjamin Moore). It's a good neutral. I am also loving Seattle Mist- it looks great with red oak and clients are happy with those. Good luck!

I have Revere Pewter on my living room walls. If you choose this color, I suggest using an eggshell finish. The flat finish in this color is completely lifeless, IMO.

Thanks for your suggestions...I'm also looking at Affinity Wish (Benjamin Moore). What do you think?
