The inside mounted blinds don't come in the way when using the door? How tall are your doors?

These are 6'8" standard doors. They are not the primary doors into the house and so having a 5" valance was not a problem.

I love the look of woven wood blinds but am struggling with how much of my view I will lose due to the valance and stack. What is the the total length lost here? Any suggestions?

The stack on the blinds or woven woods is dependent on the height if the space/ length of the treatment and in the type of woven wood/ fabric/ blind. In this application there is approx 6" valance that hides the stack. You can also mount the treatment above the door if you have ceiling height - as another option.
