Help with bathrooms needed!

I have 2 bathrooms, one en suite (small) and one larger) the tiles on the wall are a sand like coulour, and the ones on the floor are a chocolate/dark brown colour. On the smaller bathroom the furniture is wengue, on the larger its beech. My dilemma has to do with towels, rugs and accessories (like toothbrush holders). I'd thought of going with orange, but im thinking it may be too strong, ....what colours would go best???Thank you

You definitely need COLOR! I would choose colors to help accent and blend. I am a huge fan of blue/brown when it comes to bathrooms! Combined with your black cabinetry I think it would blend well. Use light blue or smoke grey if you prefer with a blend of chocolate brown and taupe to accent! Good Luck!

I have done a similar bathroom to this and two colours were quite successful - the first was not an orange but more a burned orange so not so vivid. And the other was a mauve colour which worked very nicely indeed. If you only had dark brown, I would have gone for teal or lime green, but you have to work with the sand colour tile as well

A grass or leaf green would look bright and fresh with the neutrals, especially the darker bath- maybe as an accent like trim and/or modern monogram rather than whole towel. And an architectural - not too flowery- plant could coordinate and bring some life to the space, with clean white/metal toothbrush, etc.

I would go for shades of green, the light ones, for instance acqua and petroleum.

swpreservation I had thought about the plant too, but on the smaller bathroom it wont be possible, not enough space...unless it goes next to the sink, but I'll definetely look it...I also like the accent idea. Towel wise I may just try the different colours suggested on different weeks :) My Main issue at moment are rugs and the accessories. Thank you all for the comments :)
