What is the flower intermingled and behind the front right blue hydrangea? Also, is the light purple a salvia, russian sage, lavender?

I would guess from the photo you are seeing Echinacea (coneflower) before it is flowering.

On the right side of the hydrangea is echinacea before it flowers. The plant in the front right with dark blue flowers is salvia, the medium blue in the middle is veronica, and the light blue/purple is nepeta with white roses behind.

If you are looking for a low maintenance white rose, try White Out (its from the knockout series) or the Icy Drift.
