Where did the desk come from? or has anyone seen something similar, if so where?

It looks like a parsons desk, but it's not very deep, so it could also be a console. Here's a similar look from West Elm: http://www.westelm.com/products/parsons-desk-with-drawers-f099/?pkey=coffice-desks
