I got a screaming deal on this lovely little bungalow, probably because she is a little on the plain side.... Does anyone have ideas on how/who can give me help in transforming her exterior to something reminiscent of a Craftsman... I would sincerely appreciate the help.

With respect to small things or bigger.... I have budget to do more than paint.
I am considering a small porch or pergola type structure coming out from the front door to approximately half way down the garage, something that mimics/compliments the garage roof line....?

Adding details like wider trimwork, brackets, and incorporating stone/brick and columns...adding a small porch or one across the whole front of home would be awesome. Two of these have different rooflines..wanted to show the details and columns.

Revamping the exterior is a first for me. I am concerned about getting the correct proportions so I would like to get a professional designer to provide the design. Any recommendations or suggestions are very welcome. I am in a small town in Alberta, Canada

I think a front porch is the way to go...I would go all the way across the front so u can have at least two posts! Put some brackets on the garage...I am guessing this is maintenance free siding? Maybe do some "shakes" in the garage peak in a color ...

If u want to keep the white siding and use shakes..this color scheme works...and a pic of another porch/portico like idea.
