Micro-suede on covered porch ?
March 21, 2013 in Design Dilemma
We've built a second story covered porch with a large stone fireplace. My husband is planning to mount a 60" TV above the mantle and install a grill out there. It'll be his "room": masculine and lodge-like. He even bought a "big ass" fan (that's the name of the fan company) to mount in the vaulted ceiling. Now he needs comfortable seating to sit and watch the games....

Question... I have a large chocolate microfiber love seat that I don't want in the house anymore - even though it's still in good condition. It's been in the kids' playroom. How would that fair on a covered porch ?

Can you use microfiber outdoors long term ? It shouldn't get wet under the covered area unless there's a huge storm with rain blowing sideways.

As long as it doesn't get wet, it should last for quite a while.
Only risk is mice or other creatures moving in there.
