Well, you can always start with something seasonal. For instance, do something for spring. How about a beautiful basket with a bunch of potted hyacinths or daffodils. Add a runner under it in mossy green or whatever you like. You may keep your candle holders, one on each side of the basket or switch out to candle sticks. If you go to google and click on images and type in spring centerpiece, you won't know how to decide there will be so much to choose from!

You will be amazed at what you can pull from what you already own if you decide on a "theme." Change it when you get tired of it or if a holiday comes along.

roamrose, I meant a natural type basket not a painted one. It could be a low tray type or one with higher sides and a handle. A multiple grouping of potted plants will probably look better thatn one pot, but you can always be creative and add things you find outside your home, like empty branches as filler, or even some good quality silk flower greenery, or even dyed easter eggs. Grace Jackson's tray of candles is lovely and could also have fewer candles and some eggs, or rocks, shells or flowers in tiny pots, such as primrose.

Keep doing different things. Be original but frugal. Home Goods and stores like that have so many choices. It is nice to change with the seasons and Holidays.
