Need help with media center for Great Room

So, I need to mount my TV on the wall since my husband had the center speaker placed in the lower part of the wall. BTW- this is not the TV that will eventually be there!!

My issue is that my wall is HUGE, therefore I need something that is really going to fill it up. I have been told to do a media console and flank book shelves on each side, but have had no luck finding a set that goes together, or the book shelves aren't tall enough. I am in love with the center from Restoration Hardware, that i have included a pic of, but it won't work since I need to mount the TV on the wall. Any suggestions?

You could do a t.v. console unit and some floating shelves on the walls if u like that look.

I wouldnt go into the height of the space with a console, but stay low and wide.

I would have shelving built around where the TV is mounted, you definitetly have enough wall space for it . I love the second picture and the color of the wood!

I agree that something long and low and then mount the TV above this with a collection of shelves, art, pictures around it to help it not just float there in that big space. I will post some ideas of what I am talking about soon.

Thanks, Jayme. It's a little too modern for our style, though. I really like this one from Restoration Hardware in the attahced pic. They have it in 107 inch length which would be perfect. I am just trying to envision what I would do on the wall to take up space. There is so much of it and it really needs the perfect something.

@Kathy Barnes..If u go with a console like unit, I have seen the t.v. mounted above the console and accessories such as shelving and/or art on the walls to help balance.
