need help with backsplash design for mural over stove

I am using botticino tumbled in subway pattern in my kitchen but over my stove I am having a pencil molding with 2x2s on a diagonal. The area is 36w x 33h. My tile person is saying to make the mural 24x21 but it looks a little small when I draw it on the wall. Any pics and/or sugeestions for what would look best.
