Option 3 - is this any better?

I like this better than the white bowl with green apples. It's larger and the flowers bring in some of the design elements of the drapes.

Hi luvdecorating. I'm not loving the greens - it seems you are mixing an apple green with a sage green (from your curtains). I would like to propose a different tactic:
Find three low cream or mercury glass bowls of varying heights and fill them with rabbits ears. (the irony of extending the rabbit theme will not be lost on those in the know) and the colour works very well with your room.
Family Room
This is the idea I am looking at but much much lower and not square

They are those lovely pale green plants with soft velvet like leaves. You can find them artificial or real in shops.

Do you want real or artificial - are you in the US? I think Michaels or Jo Anne(?) have very good artificial plants and I am sure I have seen some there? If not, go to your local garden center and ask them when they will have them in live - usually a bit later in the year

If you go to Pottery Barn and see Wire Caged Mercury Glass bottles, will they work with the rabbits ear?

I went onto PB but I think they might be too tall, I was looking more for a low open bowl (so you could hide a small plant pot if need be)

I was looking for something more in this shape (and maybe this type of plant/ a succulent). If you cannot find Lamb's ear - what about these? Hens and Chicks (Sempervivum)

okay last i knew you were going with the round mirror and a mercury glass or pewter tray or low bowl. just spotted this follow up thread. this floral looks dated to me much like the original white compote. an antique low wire basket, square or rectangular could also work.
my suggestion would be to walk through several florists shops. the good ones always have great pieces made up. use them for inspiration.

Thanks ASVinteriors and diaspoton. I keep changing my mind about the centerpiece, but want it to be something that goes with the round mirror.

Hi there agree luvdecorating, that is why I am looking for low round mercury glass bowls like these - then you fill them with gravel and sempervivum - done! http://cdn102.iofferphoto.com/img/item/525/202/553/l_KR81case-of-12-replica-mercury-glass-bowls-by-teleflora.jpg http://p2.la-img.com/250/8016/1330484_1_l.jpg

I agree it is hard to find, but I am trying to find the right shapes for starters. Do these work for you - they are what I had in mind!
