The room will not be temperature controlled and so we have no idea what type of flooring can be used. Can anyone please give us some ideas. thank you.

Please tell us more about the room. Are you closing in a patio or is this a completely new room? Perhaps you can add a heated tile floor?

This is a brand new room. It is 17'x 20' and is above ground level. We would like to put a small gas fireplace in the room come fall. The room is still in construction phase. It has Casement windows.

Annette, put in radiant heat under your flooring. You will love it.
