I have a house that I am wanting to remodel and I need some help. Every wall has oak stained paneling. I mean every wall. What should I do?

Post some pictures? We need the input to help make the call...for some it will be paint them all, for others it will be never paint them...then of course there is the entire color problem...too many voices and colors available!

I would also like to know the current style of your house. Also, what style are you going for?

If you are unable to post photos can you describe the paneling? Is it in large sheets? Does it sound hollow and thin when you knock on it? Is the paneling installed as individual vertical boards? or is it the real deal raised panels? The photographs or description would allow us to comment. Thanks!

I will post pictures soon. The house was built in 1983. The panels are floor to ceiling. They are raised panels. They are not hollow. The home was custom built and the panels are solid oak.
