Master Bathroom -

Master Bathroom remodel in Pleasanton, CA. Beautiful Porcelanosa 13 x 40 tile was used to cover the walls by the tub and shower from floor to ceiling, creating a dramatic focal point. The dated tub and deck were demolished, and in their place a beautiful free standing tub was placed. The shower was re-built, and was surrounded by frameless glass panels, which make it almost disappear in the space, and adds to the feeling of spaciousness. The vanity was in good shape, but it looked dated. It was painted in a darker tone, in keeping with the new colors of the room. New cabinet pulls also added sparkle and much needed "jewelry" to the room. The countertop was replaced with a beautiful marble slab, and new contemporary square sinks were put in place of the old ones. The carpet was removed from the floor and was replaced with porcelain wood planks with an anti-slip finish. Radiant heating elements were placed on the sub floor, only in those areas were it would be most needed.

The end result was a bathroom that is elegant, timeless, yet modern and with subtle contemporary elements.

Love it! Getting rid of the huge tub surround and going to a free standing tub made the space appear so much larger. Great use of space.

Hi AMN! The shower went from 2'10" x 3'10" to 4' x 4' 5" - so a nice change! Thanks for asking!

Lovely space! The frame-less shower makes a big difference as well. It makes the room bigger and taller.

Amazing transformation. Where is the door from? I'm looking for something like that for my newly renovated bath as well.
