how to hang four paintings on a wall

Hi I bought these four paintings and want to hang them on a high ceiling wall. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/617as71NY9L._SL1000_.jpg

They are too small if I hang like what the picture shows, can someone give me some suggestions about how to hang four paintings on a big high ceiling wall? Thx!

Ignore the high ceiling, the art needs to hang at human level!

Hard to say without seeing what else is going on in the room or what it is. Are you able to post some pictures for us?

Sometimes you need to ignore the tall ceilings and hang the artwork lower down to eye level? This will give it a more intimate feel. The common mistake is hanging artwork too high. So I'm guessing your room is more contemporary or modern, looking at the paintings? Smaller painting sometime can look good all in a row at the same level.

If you hang one larger frame and then hang them inside it, they will seem bigger!

Thank you very much for the suggestions. I am still remodling this house and so far the house is empty. But I am thinking to hang a big TV on the wall and put the four paintings above the TV. I do not have pictures yet. I guess I will try to hang them in a row at the same level. But I am also thinking to hang one higher, one lower, then one higher and one lower again. The higher two are on the same level, and the lower two are on the same level. What do you think?

Basically you want to hang them as a square formation?
Can I suggest you don't hang anything above your TV - it is probably going to be eye level so rather than draw attention to it, hang them beside it on one side as a group - mid centered to the same height as the tv

As Wyland suggested, it would help a lot with some photos of your space. You probably have a few good combinations to hang your paintings.
