I want something different. I have wood (unpainted) shingles on the exterior of my house, they have weathered to a gingery brown color. What color trim would be good?

It depends where you live. classic white looks great with natural weathered wood. Or how about a dark, dark green-almost black?

I live in New England, 7 miles north of Boston, on a lake at the end of a dead end street.

I was thinking cream, so maybe we are on the same page, sort of. I would like a pop of color, but I am thinking I could accomplish that in the future with a cool door or something.

Oh, sorry for 3 posts, but I was originally thinking dark, dark purple, almost black. Thought cream would better to start, because I could change that more easily than something so dark.
