Entrance hall/stairs/landing

Any suggestions as to what colour i should paint my entrance hall? I would like to go for a bold colour, maybe grey, but don't want it to feel cold and drab? The rest of the house I going to be painted white/off-white but the colour I use in the entry hall will be the same colour I use on the stairs and landing. Should I maybe split the walls so that only half the walls are bold and the other half off-white....help!?!

I love grey, and you can find a warm grey (just avoid greys with blue or green undertones as they show up cooler than those with red or yellow undertones). I seek greys that have a vermillion undertone or a yellow ochre. Talk to your paint specialist and they will be able to advise you.

I don't consider gray to be a bold color unless is it charcoal. You haven't given us any clues as to the rest of your palette or your furniture style. Whatever is hanging on the walls in the foyer and the stairwell pics are hung way too high. Since it is a narrow space, why not try a beautiful area rug and a simple shelf/rad cover plus art? Instead of gray, how abut a gray lavender? Looking at your doors, i get that sense in the glass.

Spring purple 2070-40 or enchanted 2070-50.

I really like that colour from Benjamin Moore but I don't believe they're available in the UK is there something similar from Farrow and Ball?

French Grey is quite green, closest match I can see to Revere Pewter by F&B is Lamp Room Grey

I would suggest painting the door at the top of stairs black, it would really contrast with the white trim and the dark handrail. Grey is a fabulous color for walls that is neutral enough that you can add pops of color with artwork or with a skinny table (acting as a drop zone for keys, cellphones etc), or a skinny bench for getting shoes on.

Beautiful doors. How about a bench / storage area as you come in and I agree a nice grey would be fabulous!
