Entry door off-centered to porch roof pitch

We are in the process of converting our old outdated porch to more of a craftsman style. This porch used to have three columns that seemed to make the porch seem closed in. After taking out the middle post, we noticed it was there to "center" the front door. Now that the porch will be open, I really wanted a beautiful hanging pendant light. With the door off-center, should I still do a pendant and somehow balance something on the right side of the door??? Or go with recessed lighting, as to not call attention to it? Would love to add a window, but its not in the cards, either is moving the door. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated;)

Pendants could be symmetrical with the porch while keeping the current door location the same.

The ceiling seems low for pendant lighting, OR wer you planning on open rafter style canopy for the renovation?

How about craftsman style lanterns on each side of the door and a bench to the right of the door for balance with a rustic wood framed mirror above.

Build a low wall with an off centre opening and take out the bushes (or at least trim to half height), it will give a more thought-through look. You could hang the pendant (if you're taking away the sconces) in the middle, because that will be in a direct line with the side of the wall. Place a loveseat bench next to the door and it will all look pretty and finished.

When the whole thing is more open it won't look so bad. ;)

Thank you all, I'm so thankful for the input and ideas!! Yes, the second picture was when we opened up to rafters and took out the stucco front. We have the height for sure, but I was having a hard time finding pics with an off centered door. I love the idea of bench with rustic mirror!!!

Looking good! You mentioned "Craftsman Style" entry. The corner posts would look great "tapered" sitting on top of a stone base. Hoping you have that in the "works"!!

We do have something similar in the works;) Not a fan of the full tapered post, but we will be wrapping the posts and will stone the bottom like your picture.

Oh, and the beds in front will be dug up. I will try to replant. Still searching for the perfect wall "art" to balance out that right side!!
