Roman blind for kitchen window
April 16, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I've got two dilemmas really regarding my new kitchen. I love everything in it, but somehow it just doesnt feel right. Ii know it needs 'something' but I'm not sure what. I have quite a few bit of Orla Kiely which I love and prefer a non cluttered look, i.e everything put away. Looking at the photos, can anybody advise me what to do. Also, which may help my first query - I need a window blind. I would prefer a roman blind but the windows are a bit strange in as much there is no internal recess, in fact they sort of protrude from the wall. Also, if you look at the bottom right hand corner of the window, there is a step up to the worktop and would make it difficult for a blind to come down fully. The walls are painted Farrow and Ball, Shaded White, which I love. Any help on a window treatment or ways to tweak the kitchen so it was a bit more 'together' would be really useful..
