With a mostly white kitchen, you have so much flexibility when it comes to your countertop. If you wanted something lighter, you could look into Alaskan White or Delicatus. If you wanted something that is a little bit darker, then you could look into Kashmir Gold or Astoria.

Take samples of both the white and walnut cabinetry with you when you go to the slab yard. This will help you see what the granite will look like with your cabinets.

Still hoping for some advice, I want to the Yard today, I did not find anything I really like, I saw a stone called crystal ice, that was too simply had no real life to it. I think I like the granite look. then I looked at White Taj Mahal Granite, but still did not love it.

Please advice what you think we should choose, We are leaning to a lighter color with with a Stone that is not too busy

The above photo looks like it could be Colonial Gold or Colonial Cream.

If you didn't see anything that you liked, you could go back to that fabrication shop and ask for a list of their suppliers. The suppliers warehouses are generally pretty large and have many slabs to choose from.

To me granite (except absolute black) is kind of busy by nature. I think it is a personal preference but if you want something light but less busy (without the maintenance of marble) you could check out the marble look quartz out there. Cambria Torquay is supposed to be a nice one - there are photos on houzz - but you should check them out on a large scale if you can.
This is the Cambria

I went to a granite place today, I saw 2 granites colors, that I think I like. Here are the pictures of both slabs. One he called Bianco Romano which I found online, the other choice he called Everest, but I don't see it anywhere online. Does anyone know the real name for this granite? Do you think one of these is a good choice?

White with walnut ? ANYTHING for countertops - but remember - you need to compliment your flooring as well because the countertops and flooring are on the same horizontal viewing plane subconsciously.

I'm doing a white kitchen with walnut flooring, and we're using white quartz, with inlay of Elegant White marble.

The Bianco is less busy. The Everest is a little busier and warmer. I like it and works well with all wood tones. Has a little more character.

I agree with LB Interiors and prefer the Everest. I love the warmer tones with your cabinetry (and your flooring). Both are beautiful, but I like the Everest better.

I have seen it listed as Everest at a handful of other places. However, I do not specifically know of any other names for this stone. It looks similar to Persia Avorio.
